Upon early arrival from a red-eye flight, we take you for breakfast, followed by the city tour of Irkutsk. Nice, clean, university city of nearly 600,000. You will be pleased with vast open views of Angara River with the purest bluest water, wide avenues, nice theaters, European architecture mixed with the pretty wooden houses of the first settlers, the Cossacks.

Listvyanka is a tiny village, it’s the only street stretches for dozen kilometers along the narrow shore. The highlight of the place is Baikal Ecology Museum of Limnological Institute with the large display of unique lake’s flora and fauna. The museum remembers better times back in the USSR, but by bits and pieces it is being renovated now. Next off we go to Baikal fresh water seal aquarium, offering 20minutes entertaining nerpa show.

Today we cruise along the western shore of Baikal, up north, towards Bolshye Koty place, founded in the late 1800s by the gold diggers (Golden Rush of Russia). Easy hike to\and back (3 km) will take us to a gold-bearing mine, located on a creek in Pad’Chernaya. Everyone here can challenge himself to the role of gold digger. Return to Litsvyanka village by the same boat, lunch on board.

Check out. We take the ferry to Port Baikal depot. Travel on historical Circumbaikal Railway, built along the southern shore of Baikal in the early 1900s. Lunch picnic. Last stop of the Circumbaikal Railway is Sludyanka station. We will be asked to disembark from the train and proceed by the coach to Kultuk village (11km away from Sludyanka) and further (100km) to Arshan settlement of Buryat Republic. “Arshan” stands for “healing spring” in the Buryat’s language and its mineral springs made Arshan the famous local resort. Check in. Overnight at Tuyana guesthouse.

We start the day with the visit to Arshan lamaist datsan. Do as locals do: spin the Buddhist drums, listen to the legend of the temple’s creation and stay at morning mass. Tranquility is the best word for this spot. Back to the guest house for lunch. Afternoon walk to Arshan’s mineral springs. One of the nature wonders here is six meter high waterfall. Views are stunning. Place is adorable. Overnight at Tuyana guesthouse.

Exploring Tunka Valley, we can’t miss extinct volcanoes. The thoughts of the lost paradise, guarded by silent giants, come to one’s mind. Solitude. Views of Mighty nature heal the souls of exhausted city-dwellers. Overnight at Tuyana guesthouse.

Checkout. Departure by coach to Irkutsk via Tunka national park. We will make a few stops enroute to pay respects to holly places, both shamanistic and Buddhist.
Check in upon arrival to Irkutsk. Lunch in one of the city restaurants. Visit central Irkutsk market is a must. The market is huge, modern and display abundance gifts of nature. The fruits of the forests, like mushrooms and berries, are exceptionally big and juicy.

After payment our professionals from Logistic Department will start to organize your tour. On this stage you need only waiting for final conformation. As per our policy Final Confirmation will be send 30-25 days before your first day tour. When you receive final confirmation please read it carefully.
